He had just finished a strenuous workout in his home gym, the exertion leaving him pleasantly tired and flushed. The cold water cascading over his face in the shower felt like a gift. Now, wrapped in a fluffy towel, he felt the calm that follows hard work. The quiet hum of the house, the faint scent of his aftershave – everything was just right. The doorbell chimed, a sound he rarely heard. It was Mr. Harrison, his face carrying a look of deep concern.
